Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, navigate with the keyboard only, zoom in or use other assistive technology. This statement covers pliktrodigital.com in English and in Greek.
Conformance status
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA: the limitations listed below mean that some parts do not fully conform yet.
What we have checked
- Every page, in both languages and in both the light and the dark colour scheme, is scanned with the axe accessibility checker against the WCAG level A and AA rules.
- Pages fit narrow screens down to 320 px wide, and work at 200% zoom, without horizontal scrolling.
- Animations stop by themselves within 5 seconds. If your device asks for reduced motion, they are switched off and content appears immediately.
- The menu marks the page you are on for screen readers, and shows it with an underline, not by colour alone.
- The keyboard focus is never hidden behind the page header that stays at the top of the screen.
- Each page declares its language, and English text on the Greek pages is marked as English.
- Contact form errors are linked to their fields, and after a failed submission the keyboard focus moves to the first field with an error, or to the error message.
- A "Skip to content" link is the first thing you reach with the keyboard on every page, letting you jump straight past the menu.
- Every link, button and form field shows a clear, visible outline when you reach it with the keyboard.
- Footer links and the cookie settings control are at least 24 by 24 pixels, meeting the recommended minimum touch/click target size.
- While the cookie banner is shown, the page keeps space free for it at the bottom, so the page’s controls can be scrolled clear of it. Without JavaScript the banner is not shown at all.
Known limitations
- Larger text only. If you enlarge only the text (a bigger default font size in your browser settings, rather than zooming the page), the header at the top of the page can run past the edge of the screen, so you may need to scroll sideways to reach the menu. Zooming the whole page works.
- English text on the Greek pages. Some content managed through our content system (for example project and service descriptions) is currently available in English only. On the Greek pages that text is marked as English (lang="en"), so screen readers read it with English pronunciation. We are translating it.
- Third-party spam check. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a third-party widget that we do not control, to check that the sender is not a bot. It usually needs no interaction, but if it asks you to complete a check that you cannot do, or it fails, email us at [email protected] instead and we will reply in the same way.
How we assessed the website
This statement is based on a self-assessment: automated scans with axe of every page, in both languages and in both colour schemes, run during development, and automated checks of the layout at 320, 360 and 640 px width (640 px is a 1280 px screen at 200% zoom) and of keyboard focus.
The statement was last reviewed on September 30, 2026. We review it at least once a year and whenever the website changes significantly.
Feedback and contact
If you find an accessibility problem, or need any content in a different format, email us at [email protected]. Tell us the page and what went wrong; we aim to reply within 5 working days.
Legal status
This statement is voluntary. The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, transposed in Greece by Law 4994/2022) most likely does not apply to this website: Pliktro Digital is a microenterprise and no contracts are concluded on the website. We publish the statement because accessibility is part of how we build every website.
