Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar stores in your browser that only this site can read and that are never sent to our server; session storage is emptied when you close the tab. This page lists every cookie and storage item used on this site, what it does and how long it lasts. Our own code sets no cookies; it uses local and session storage only.
Necessary and functional items
Necessary items make the site work as you asked: remembering your answer to the cookie banner, and protecting the contact form from spam. Functional items remember a preference, and are saved only when you use the matching control (the theme switch, the shortcuts switch or the language switch). Neither kind needs your consent (Art. 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006), and neither is used to track you.
Analytics (optional)
Only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner do we load Google Analytics, which sets the analytics cookies in the table below. These cookies hold a random, pseudonymous ID, not your name, and let us see how the site is used. Until you accept, and after you refuse, no request is sent to Google and none of these cookies is set.

Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” button below, which is also in the footer of every page. The cookie banner opens again; if you choose “No thanks” after accepting, we stop the analytics, delete the Google cookies from this site and reload the page.
