Who these terms are for

These terms apply when you hire Pliktro Digital as a consumer, that is, for purposes outside your trade, business or profession (for example, a personal website). If you hire us for your business, the written proposal and the general law apply, and the right of withdrawal below does not.

Written proposal and price

Before any work starts, we send you a written proposal by email. It sets out the scope of the service (what we will design, build or maintain and what you receive), the timetable, the total price including VAT and the payment terms, usually a deposit and a final payment.

The contract is concluded when you accept the proposal in writing, for example by replying to our email. Where the proposal and these terms differ, the proposal applies, except where these terms give you more protection as a consumer.

Information before you are bound

Before you accept, the proposal and these terms give you:

  • our identity and contact details (at the top of this page);
  • the main characteristics of the service;
  • the total price including VAT, and any additional costs;
  • the payment arrangements and the timetable for performance;
  • for ongoing services such as hosting or maintenance, the duration of the contract and how to end it;
  • your right of withdrawal, how to exercise it and the model withdrawal form;
  • how to make a complaint and the out-of-court dispute resolution option.

Once the contract is concluded, we confirm it to you by email.

Your right of withdrawal (14 days)

  • You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
  • The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day on which the contract is concluded.
  • We do not start work during the withdrawal period unless you expressly ask us to. If you want us to start earlier, we ask you to confirm that request in writing (for example by email).
  • If you asked us to start during the withdrawal period and then withdraw, you pay us an amount in proportion to the work done up to the moment you told us you are withdrawing, compared with the full scope of the contract.
  • You lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, if we began performance with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you would lose the right once we had fully performed the contract.

How to withdraw

To withdraw, tell us of your decision with a clear statement: an email to [email protected] is enough. You can use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your message before the withdrawal period ends.

Model withdrawal form

(complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract)

  • To: Koulouridis Nikolaos, Pliktro Digital, Anexartisias 3, 65403 Kavala, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, [email protected]
  • I/We hereby give notice that I/We withdraw from my/our contract for the provision of the following service:
  • Contract concluded on:
  • Name of consumer(s):
  • Address of consumer(s):
  • Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is sent on paper):
  • Date:

Refunds

If you withdraw, we refund all payments we have received from you, less any proportionate amount for work done at your request as described above, without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day we receive your withdrawal. We refund using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you pay no fees for the refund.

Complaints and disputes

If something is not right, please email us first at [email protected].

If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you can turn to the Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή), an independent authority that mediates consumer disputes out of court, free of charge: www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr.

Using out-of-court dispute resolution is voluntary and does not affect your right to go to court.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Kavala have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force on the day you accept a proposal applies to that contract. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version.
